Ukraine Clears Long-Range Combat Monoculars For Troops With 02 Kilometres Vision.
Kyiv; February 2026: The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has approved for use in the Defense Forces of Ukraine the MT-GEKKO-PRO-40 and MT-GEKKO-PRO-50 monoculars. These are night vision devices of Ukrainian production. They have already been tested in combat, have enhanced protection and can withstand even extreme loads.
Thanks to the manufacturer’s close cooperation with the military, the MT-GEKKO-PRO-40 and MT-GEKKO-PRO-50 are equipped with advanced optics. Depending on the configuration, they can detect enemy personnel at a distance of over 400 metres and equipment at a distance of almost 2,000 metres.
These night vision devices also help to navigate the terrain, perform technical work on equipment, provide medical assistance to the wounded, read maps, and drive vehicles in conditions of limited visibility. The convenience of mounts allows you to use MT-GEKKO-PRO monoculars while holding them in your hands, or mount them on a helmet or weapon. In addition, these Ukrainian-made monoculars are in most cases cheaper than foreign analogues.
The MT-GEKKO-PRO monoculars give Ukrainian troops extended 60 hours night vision, detecting personnel and equipment in low-visibility conditions. The MT-GEKKO-PRO-40 and MT-GEKKO-PRO-50 monoculars feature advanced optics capable of spotting enemy personnel up to 500 metres (1,640 feet) and equipment at ranges of 02 kilometres (1.2 miles).
They are positioned as versatile tools, helping troops navigate difficult terrain, see things closer and clearer during equipment checks and repairs, and act as an extra set of eyes for enhanced situational awareness in low-visibility conditions.
