Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya meets top executives of several companies in Germany

Discussions held on further strengthening India-Germany relations in the field of semiconductor and electronics manufacturing

Germany/Lucknow, February 2026 : Under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, a delegation from Uttar Pradesh met with a German delegation in Frankfurt on Monday and invited them to invest in the state.

The Deputy Chief Minister held discussions on investment with Silke Sickter (ZVEI – Global Affairs and Economics, Indo-Pacific and China Affairs) and Markus Schyboll, CEO of EA Elektro-Automatik GMBH. Both investors expressed confidence in investing in Uttar Pradesh.

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya apprised the German delegation of Uttar Pradesh’s strengthening economy. He stated that Uttar Pradesh is a vast market of 25 crore consumers. Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state has become a major center of India’s rapidly growing economy.

Uttar Pradesh is rapidly emerging as a global destination. Both delegations emphasized further strengthening India-Germany partnerships in the field of semiconductor and electronics manufacturing.

The German delegation informed that leading companies such as Siemens and NXP are already investing in India. They mentioned that they are working strongly in India, focusing on its vast market of 25 crore people. The German delegation also acknowledged the cooperation received from India and the advantages of its large market. The German delegation assured Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya of long-term cooperation and investment in Uttar Pradesh.
