Chief Minister Rekha Gupta Presents Government’s Report Card from East Delhi
East Delhi to Become a Development Hub; Major Announcement by CM Rekha Gupta During ‘Pravas’ Programme
New Delhi, February 2026 : Delhi Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta on Wednesday attended a public gathering and the ‘Pravas’ programme organised in East Delhi. She stated that the government is working continuously to fulfil the resolve of building a ‘Viksit Delhi’. Marking one year of the BJP-led Delhi Government, she reiterated the message: “First Step Towards Change, One Year of Development.” The Chief Minister presented a report card of the government’s work over the past year and said that several concrete measures have been undertaken to make Delhi better, safer and more convenient for its residents.

The Chief Minister said that her government is not merely focused on governance, but on serving the people. She highlighted that over the past year, sustained efforts have been made at the grassroots level, with priority given to essential services such as healthcare, education, smooth transport connectivity and access to clean drinking water.
During the ‘Pravas’ programme, emphasis was laid on the fact that this one-year development journey has laid the foundation of an ‘ideal capital’ prosperous, progressive, green and equipped with modern amenities. In this vision, the East Delhi parliamentary constituency will play a pivotal role and will, in the coming years, be firmly placed on the global development map.
