27th National E-Governance Conference Inaugurated by CM Eknath Shinde on 3rd Sept.
A Discussion on Developing India: Providing Secure and Sustainable e-Services
Mumbai, 23rd: The “27th National e-Governance Conference 2024,” organized in collaboration with the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, the Department of Administrative Innovation, Excellence, and Good Governance of the State Government, and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of the Central Government, will be held on the 3rd and 4th of September 2024 at the Jio World Convention Center, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai.
The conference will take place at Jasmine Hall, one of the largest auditoriums in the country. Maharashtra is hosting this year’s conference, themed “Viksit Bharat: Secure and Sustainable e-Service Delivery.”
Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Dr. Jitendra Singh, will preside over the conference, which will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar will attend the concluding session of the conference. Additionally, School Education and Marathi Language Minister and Mumbai City Guardian Minister Deepak Kesarkar, along with Skills, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Minister and Mumbai Suburban Guardian Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, will also be in attendance.
The conference will showcase the best practices in good governance and e-governance. It will also include the announcement of new names for the sub-divisions of Administrative Reforms, Structure, and Procedures of the General Administration Department. The event will feature six main sessions and six sub-sessions, where speakers and award winners from government, academia, and industry will discuss and exchange ideas on innovative e-governance methods. Chief Minister Shri Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis will deliver keynote addresses, and Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State, will present the awards. Registration for awardees, lecturers, and other participants has begun on the portal nceg.gov.in.
