Working Group for Kawngpui Development Convened in Kolasib
Kolasib : A Working Group meeting was held today at the Kolasib DC Conference Hall to discuss the development of Kawngpui. The meeting was chaired by Additional DC Pi B. Malsawmtluangi.
The Working Group meeting focused on the progress of Kawngpui development projects and scheduled site visits. As planned, a site visit will take place on September 4, 2024, involving the Kawngpui SDO (C) and officials from Kolasib and Durlui (near Sairang). The meeting also addressed upcoming site visits to Vairengte, Bairabi, and Zero Point (Kolasib Bul).
Additionally, the meeting discussed the progress of ongoing projects in Serkhan and Saiphai and the importance of timely completion. The extension of agreements related to the Kawngpui development was also considered, with a focus on maintaining progress.
The Working Group, which includes representatives from various sectors, will continue its efforts to address roadblocks and ensure smooth execution of development plans. The group, chaired by Kolasib Additional DC Pi B. Malsawmtluangi, consists of 25 members from PWD, Police, government departments, MJA, YMA, and NHIDCL, among others.
