Pehle Desh- Tap Vandana’ program was held in the esteemed presence of Chief Minister

Gandhinagar :  To honour the 93rd birth anniversary of His Holiness Brahmalin Swami Shri Satyamitranandgiriji Maharaj, the “Pahele Desh – Tapavandana” program was held at the Tagore Hall, Ahmedabad, in the esteemed presence of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel. The CM remarked that the profound impact of Swamiji’s work, as the founder of Bharat Mata Temple, has gathered everyone here. He noted that Swami Shri Satyamitranandgiriji Maharaj has guided us in our devotion not only to God but also to our nation. The Chief Minister emphasized that our social life is shaped by the interconnected streams of religion, science, and nation and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi also champions the causes of national and divine service. He further acknowledged that Swamiji has devoted years to serving the downtrodden and underprivileged. In recognition of his contributions, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi honoured him with the Padma Bhushan in 2015.

The Chief Minister further stated that a saint serves as a bridge between Jiv (Human) and Shiv (Divine). Swamiji has imparted lessons in patriotism alongside Shiv Bhakti (Divine Worship) and has encouraged the worship of Goddess Bharati along with Goddess Jagdamba. The CM considered it a great fortune to receive the blessings of such revered saints. Reflecting on the worship of saints, the Chief Minister highlighted that India has long celebrated the saints, who connect the material with the eternal. India has always echoed the love and blessings of these holy figures, and Gujarat too has been blessed by many such saints. The CM conveyed his belief that the blessings of these holy saints will continually guide us and that a Viksit Gujarat will contribute to the vision of a Viksit Bharat. 

On this occasion, the new unit of Samanvay Parivar was inaugurated, and announcements were made regarding the inauguration of the Swami Shri Satyamitranandgiriji Maharaj Seva Kendra in Sanand, as well as the Bharat Ratna Nanaji Deshmukh Integrated Seva Kendra in Bopal and Sanand. Over 161 saints and mahants of the Valmiki Sect from 23 districts of the state were in attendance.

Notable attendees included Rajya Sabha MP and Kshetra Valmiki Dham, Ujjain Pithadhishwar Sant Shri Balyogiji Umeshnathji Maharaj; Swami Shri Nikhileshwaranandji Maharaj, President of Ramakrishna Ashram, Rajkot; Dr. Jayantibhai Bhadeshiya, Leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Western Sector; Asarwa MLA Smt. Darshana Vaghela; and Shri Rasikbhai Khamar. The event was also attended by the members of Samanvay Parivar, Gayatri Parivar, Valmiki Parivar, and Ramkrishna Mission Parivar, along with a large number of saints, mahants, and devotees.
