Russian Ambassador Denis Alipov Meets Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister to Discuss Business Opportunities

New Delhi : Russian Ambassador to India, Denis Alipov, held a meeting with Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu in New Delhi. The focus of the discussion was on exploring business cooperation between Himachal Pradesh and various Russian provinces. Ambassador Alipov expressed great enthusiasm for the potential business opportunities, describing them as vast and promising.

The meeting comes after an earlier high-profile visit by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Russia on July 9, where he discussed global and regional issues with Russian President Vladimir Putin and reviewed bilateral relations. Alipov underscored the importance of this visit, which helped strengthen ties in key sectors such as oil, gas, defense, and culture.

Looking ahead, Ambassador Alipov expressed optimism about future collaborations, including the upcoming BRICS summit. He also mentioned the expected visit of a high-level Russian delegation to India, continuing the long-standing tradition of annual summit exchanges between the two nations, which have been ongoing for over two decades.
