Call for Applications for the Appointment of Non-Governmental Members on the District Vigilance Committee
Mumbai : A District Vigilance and Control Committee has been established for the Mumbai City district. Assistant Commissioner of the Social Welfare Department, Prasad Khairnar, has invited interested candidates to apply for the position of non-governmental members on this committee by October 15, 2024.
There are five non-governmental member positions to be filled for the Mumbai City district. Interested individuals are requested to submit their applications along with their resumes to the Assistant Commissioner, Social Welfare, Mumbai City, Administrative Building, 4th Floor, R.C. Road, Chembur (East), Mumbai-71, either by email at acswomumbai@gmail.com or in person during office hours by October 15, 2024.
The eligibility criteria for non-governmental members are as follows: the member must belong to a Scheduled Caste or Tribe, have experience in working in the social sector, possess knowledge of the Scheduled Castes and Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, preference will be given to those holding a degree in law (LLB, LLM), and the member must be a resident of the Mumbai City district, according to the press release.
