314 Bags of Fake Fertilizers Seized in Quality Control Campaign Ahead of Rabi Season
Jaipur – The Agriculture Department conducts a special quality control campaign each year ahead of the Rabi and Kharif sowing seasons to ensure farmers receive high-quality fertilizers and seeds, and to prevent the distribution of counterfeit fertilizers.
As part of this campaign, Agriculture Department officials in Alwar seized 84 bags of fake IFFCO-brand DAP fertilizer and 230 bags of unbranded DAP fertilizer from the house of Mr. Malkhan, a resident of Zadoli village, Ghatla Gram Panchayat. Additionally, 15 bags of IFFCO-marked and 60 unmarked bags were confiscated. Samples of the fake fertilizers have been collected and sent to the laboratory for testing. A case has been registered against Mr. Malkhan, son of Aas Mohammed, under Section 3/7 of the Fertilizer Control Order 1985 and the Essential Commodities Act 1955.
