Helping Women Achieve Independence Through Various Schemes – Chief Minister Eknath Shinde
Mumbai – The state government is implementing various schemes aimed at uplifting different sections of society. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde stated that initiatives such as the Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, Lek Ladki Yojana, and free higher education are being introduced for women, helping them to stand on their own feet.
The Bhoomipujan and inauguration of various development projects in the Kurla Assembly area were conducted online by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Earlier, he addressed a program organized at Bunter Bhawan in Kurla on Friday, attended by MLA Mangesh Kudalkar, former MP Rahul Shewale, and others.
The Chief Minister emphasized that Maharashtra is a leading state in both industry and foreign investment. In addition to supporting women, numerous schemes are being implemented for farmers, youth, senior citizens, and other groups. He assured that sufficient provisions have been made for the Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana and confirmed that this scheme will not be discontinued.
During the online Bhoomipujan ceremony, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde inaugurated several projects, including:
- The Chheda Nagar Flyover Bridge.
- The groundbreaking ceremony for the proposed bridge from the BKC connector to the U-turn on the Eastern Expressway.
- Bhoomipujan of the proposed bridge over the Chunabhatti Railway Gate.
- Development of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Playground in the Kurla Assembly Constituency.
- Inauguration of the lime kiln entrance and other works.
- Beautification of the Kamaraj Playground.
Additionally, he inaugurated the renovation and beautification of Hanuman Mandir Udyan in Tilak Nagar, commenced renovation work for Nana Nani Park and Balodyan in the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Playground at Nehrunagar, and initiated cement concreting work for roads in the Kurla Vidhan Sabha area. The second phase of the Mala Nisaran project in Mhada Colony, Nehrunagar-Tilak Nagar was also inaugurated, along with the opening of Balasaheb Thackeray’s clinic near Kurla East Railway Station.
