Education Pre-Summit: New era of reconstruction in Rajasthan’s education

Jaipur : Our Rajasthan, once known as a desert, is continuously moving forward on the path of progress, prosperity and development. A historic and unprecedented event like ‘Rising Rajasthan’ is going to be organized for the socio-economic development of the state and the benefit of the public. Earlier, Education Pre-Summit 2024 was organized on 6 November 2024 at Hotel Intercontinental, Tonk Road, Jaipur to pave the way for reconstruction in the education of the state, positive change, realizing the various objectives of the National Education Policy and investment in the field of education.

Organized under the joint aegis of Higher Education, School Education, Sanskrit Education, Technical Education, Skill and Entrepreneurship Department and Sports and Youth Affairs, this conference will not only bring together the philanthropists, donors, and stakeholders of the education sector, but will also provide an important platform for discussions on strategies and innovations for the future development of education.

Honorable Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Bhajanlal Sharma Ji, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Premchand Bairwa, Government of Rajasthan, Education and Panchayati Raj Minister Shri Madan Dilawar, Skill Planning Entrepreneurship Department, Youth and Sports Department Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore were present in the program. The objective of this pre-summit, which is being held under the chairmanship of the Honorable Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma Ji and under the able leadership of Education Minister Shri Madan Dilawar Ji, is to brainstorm at a high level on the use of latest technologies in the field of education, e-learning, digital education, improvement in the quality of education, new educational approaches, efforts to make education employment oriented with the help of skill development, innovation and future prospects as well as the possibilities of investment in the field of education. This summit is considered very important for the improvement and progress of the state education of the state. After this, it is expected to ensure the beginning of a new era of Navnirman in education.

Chief Guest Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma said that education is the main basis of development, even a small investment made in education brings a big impact. It is the most important. He told that 507 MoUs worth 28 thousand crores have been signed in the pre-summit, which will open new avenues of development in education, technical-higher education, skill development and sports.  “Rajasthan has immense potential in every sector and though we had limited time for preparation, we will be able to implement these initiatives successfully with your support. We are working hard to provide employment to over 6 lakh youth. MoUs have been signed in all sectors, be it mining, health or energy. ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024 will usher in a new era of economic development for Rajasthan,” said Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma. 

On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Premchand Bairwa said that Rajasthan is moving ahead on the path of progress under the leadership of the Chief Minister. I am happy that the objective of this event is not economic cooperation but to make the youth self-reliant. Education and Panchayati Raj Minister Shri Madan Dilawar said that I thank the people of Rajasthan, investors, philanthropists, donors for connecting with my soil. Education is the foundation of life, it will be the basis of whatever destinations are set. We are committed to imparting values ​​along with education.

Hon’ble Minister of Skill Planning Entrepreneurship Department, Youth and Sports Department Col Rajyavardhan Rathore said that education should not be for degree but for life. Sports is very important for discipline, self-confidence. The aim of the Rajasthan government is to make the education system of the state competitive not only at the state level but also at the national and international level. To fulfil these objectives, eminent policy experts of the education sector, educationists, prominent personalities from the industry, philanthropists, donors and people who are giving a new direction to the education of the state are participating in this mega event.

Rajasthan government is making vigorous efforts to realize the vision of ‘Rajasthan of the future’ of the state’s honourable Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma. Education Pre-Summit is an important milestone of this golden journey.
