To make the Pink City clean, beautiful, and organized, the Principal Secretary issued strict directives.

Jaipur : In preparation for the successful organization of Rising Rajasthan—2024, Principal Secretary of the Department of Local Self-Governance, Mr. Rajesh Yadav, held a review meeting on Wednesday at the Secretariat in the presence of Principal Secretary of the Urban Development Department, Mr. Vaibhav Galaria. During the meeting, he gave strict instructions regarding the cleanliness, beautification, law and order, and traffic management of Jaipur city. He emphasized timely execution and the rapid completion of all preparations. The attending officials shared updates on the progress of their respective tasks. The Principal Secretary reviewed the work of each department and provided directives for necessary improvements.

Special Focus on City Cleanliness and Beautification

Mr. Yadav underscored that cleanliness campaigns are a priority for Rising Rajasthan—2024. He directed the Municipal Corporation and JDA to regularly conduct cleaning drives in their respective areas. He stated that public places such as markets, bus stands, railway stations, sidewalks, and tourist spots must be kept especially clean and organized. To enhance the city’s beauty, he instructed attractive wall paintings, greenery along roadsides, and the illumination and decoration of major squares. He also warned of strict action against negligent officials and employees.

Directives on Law and Order and Traffic Management

Mr. Yadav urged the police department to take effective steps to maintain law and order in the city. He stressed improving traffic management and ensuring smooth movement during Rising Rajasthan—2024 so that visitors and participants face no inconvenience. He instructed the preparation of special plans for traffic control, parking arrangements, and seamless road navigation.

Emphasis on Coordinated Efforts

The Principal Secretary called on all department officials to work in coordination. He remarked that Rising Rajasthan—2024 is a crucial opportunity to showcase Rajasthan’s progress and development. Every department must fulfill its responsibilities with dedication and commitment. He encouraged involving the public in the preparations to create a collective effort that further brightens the state’s image.

Ensuring Warm Hospitality for Guests

Mr. Yadav highlighted that Rajasthan is renowned for its hospitality across the country. He instructed that no effort should be spared in providing smooth and comfortable facilities to brand ambassadors, investors, and other guests attending the summit. While reviewing arrangements for activities during the inaugural session, guest seating plans, and other preparations, he directed finalizing all preparations promptly.

The meeting was attended by the Commissioner of Jaipur Development Authority, Jaipur Police Commissioner, Commissioners of Greater and Heritage Municipal Corporations, Commissioner of Rajasthan Housing Board, Additional Commissioner of Traffic Police, Director of Local Bodies Department, Chief Forest Conservator of Jaipur Development Authority, Government Deputy Secretary of the Industries and Commerce Department, Advisor of the RIICO Department, and other senior officials from related departments.

Mr. Yadav expressed confidence that dedicated efforts and meticulous planning would make Rising Rajasthan—2024 not only a source of pride for the state’s citizens but also leave a positive impression on guests from across the country and abroad.
