Jaipur : The state government is leaving no stone unturned for the successful organization of the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, which will be held from December 9 to 11. In this regard, Chief Minister Mr. Bhajanlal Sharma took a bus tour of Jaipur city on Thursday to review the summit preparations. During this time, the Chief Minister inspected the arrangements from Jaipur Airport to the event venue, Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC), and provided the necessary instructions to the officials for the historical event.
Rising Rajasthan will prove to be a milestone in the industrial development of the state
While speaking to the media, Mr. Sharma said that under the leadership of the country’s successful Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, the state government is organizing the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit in its first year. Rajasthan has immense investment potential, and this event will prove to be a milestone in speeding up the state’s industrial development. The summit will play a significant role in bringing Rajasthan forward in sectors such as mining, stone, education, healthcare, and automobiles.
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi will be present at the inaugural session of the summit. Therefore, the state government is working in mission mode to complete the preparations and arrangements. He added that Rajasthan has a distinct identity in the world, and one of the special features of the state’s people is their strong connection with their homeland. He emphasized that Rajasthan is famous for its hospitality, and this summit will showcase a remarkable glimpse of the state’s hospitality, culture, and traditions.
During the inspection, the Chief Minister instructed the officials to ensure that there should be no shortcomings in the hospitality of the investors, industrialists, and dignitaries attending the summit from across the country and abroad. He inspected various routes from the airport to the event venue, focusing on cleanliness, traffic management, road strengthening, city beautification, and transportation resources. He instructed the officials to regularly monitor these aspects.
Instructions to finalize preparations
After visiting the JECC event venue, the Chief Minister took stock of the activities during the inaugural session, seating arrangements for guests, and other preparations, directing the officials to finalize the arrangements. Later, the Chief Minister also visited the Jai Mahal Palace to inspect the arrangements for the cultural programs that will be held during the summit. The Chief Minister was given detailed information about the summit preparations by the Principal Secretary of Industry and Commerce, Mr. Ajitabh Sharma.
During the visit, Industry and Commerce Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore, Industry and Commerce Minister of State Mr. K. K. Vishnoi, Chief Secretary Mr. Sudhansh Pant, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister’s Office Mr. Shikhar Agarwal, Additional Chief Secretary Home Mr. Anand Kumar, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister’s Office Mr. Alok Gupta, and senior officials from the relevant departments were also present.
