Prime Minister greets valiant personnel of the Indian Navy on the Navy Day

Greeting the valiant personnel of the Indian Navy on the Navy Day, the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi hailed them for their commitment which ensures the safety, security and prosperity of our nation.

Shri Modi in a post on X wrote:

“On Navy Day, we salute the valiant personnel of the Indian Navy who protect our seas with unmatched courage and dedication. Their commitment ensures the safety, security and prosperity of our nation. We also take great pride in India’s rich maritime history.”

On December 4, 2024, Navy Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed heartfelt greetings to the Indian Navy personnel, commending their bravery and dedication in safeguarding the nation.

Navy Day is observed annually on December 4 to commemorate the Indian Navy’s pivotal role in Operation Trident during the 1971 Indo-Pak war. The day highlights the Navy’s contributions to national security and maritime excellence.
