Saitual Fisheries Department Distributes Fish Fingerlings and Feed
The Fisheries Department of Saitual District distributed fish fingerlings and fish feed to 50 fish farmers under the Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR CIFA), Bhubaneswar.
Speaking at the event, Pi Zomuansangi, the District Fisheries Development Officer (DFDO), highlighted that the distributed fish species, Amur Carp, is relatively new to Mizoram and holds great potential for fish farmers in Saitual District. She emphasized that this initiative is crucial for the progress and sustainability of fish farming in the region.
The DFDO urged the fish farmers to take proper care of the fingerlings and to continue their farming efforts responsibly for long-term benefits.
