CM announced Rs. 5 crore exclusively for Kalka’s development projects
Chandigarh – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday gifted development projects worth Rs. 25 crore to the residents of Kalka Assembly Constituency. The inauguration of these projects namely the construction of a 132 KV and 66 KV sub-station in Nanakpur, a bridge over Khuhwala River in Nanakpur, and a bridge over Berghati River in Nala Dakrog village were done during the Dhanyawad rally in Kalka Assembly Constituency.
Besides this, the Chief Minister made several announcements for the constituency including constitution of a committee under the Tourism Department to identify and declaring old buildings as heritage, the establishment of a film city, a zoo, a safari in the Morni region, tourism activities at Kaushalya Dam, and the renovation of historical stepwells. Kalka MLA Smt. Shakti Rani Sharma will be the special invitee of this Committee. The committee will submit a detailed report within six months regarding these works.
Addressing the gathering the Chief Minister said that this rally marks the beginning of statewide Dhanyawad rallies, which will accelerate development in the Kalka constituency.
*New Administrative and Judicial Complex will be constructed in Pinjore*
The Chief Minister announced the construction of a new administrative and judicial complex in Pinjore. Additionally, Swagat Dwar will be built at two entry points of Kalka from Himachal Pradesh. Besides this, new water tanks and check dams will be constructed in the Morni-Shivalik region. Under the School Education Department’s budgetary provision, Rs. 5 crore will be allocated for strengthening the school infrastructure. A feasibility study will also be conducted to establish a food processing plant for tomatoes in the Kalka constituency on a PPP mode.
*Upgradation of Veterinary Dispensaries will be done in Ganeshpur Bhoria and Badi Sher*
The Chief Minister also announced the upgradation of the veterinary dispensaries in Ganeshpur Bhoria and Badi Sher villages into veterinary hospitals. Additionally, a new veterinary dispensary will be opened in Basudevpura village. Furthermore, Rs. 5 crore was announced separately for Kalka’s development projects.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini shared that tenders have been invited for a survey to install a sewage plant and laying of sewage lines in Raipur Rani. The project will be expedited for timely completion. He said that a feasibility study will also be conducted for establishing fire stations in Raipur Rani and Morni. Moreover, tenders will be invited for developing parks in six wards of the constituency, with additional parks being planned in five other wards, subject to land availability.
