Hnahthial SP Shivam Siddharth Holds Meeting with Media Personnel

Hnahthial : Hnahthial Superintendent of Police (SP), Mr. Shivam Siddharth, held a meeting with media personnel from Hnahthial District in his office chamber.

During the meeting, SP Shivam Siddharth shared an overview of the district police’s achievements in 2024. He stated that Hnahthial Police had registered 65 criminal cases during the year, successfully apprehending 75 offenders involved in these cases. Out of these, 92% of the offenders were caught red-handed.

He also expressed gratitude for the peaceful and joyous celebration of Christmas 2024 and the New Year 2025 in Hnahthial District, made possible through excellent collaboration with various NGOs, including Sub-Hqrs YMA, Village Councils, the Mizoram Journalists Association (MJA), and the Village Defence Party (VDP). He acknowledged their collective efforts in ensuring that the festivities were celebrated without any disruptions, making it a memorable and harmonious occasion for the people.

The SP further remarked that the Mizoram government’s directives to maintain law and order during the festive season were effectively implemented in Hnahthial District. He praised the district’s NGOs for their valuable contributions and highlighted the significant role played by the MJA in spreading awareness and fostering cooperation. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Hnahthial and all NGOs for their unwavering support and collaboration.
