Maharashtra State Load Dispatch Center Receives Two National Awards for Outstanding Performance
Mumbai : The Maharashtra State Load Dispatch Center (SLDC), Airoli, under Mahatransco, has been awarded two national awards for the successful implementation of innovative schemes for power supply and control based on electricity availability. These awards recognize it as the “Best Load Dispatch Center in the Country” and for “Open Access (SLDC).” Dr. Sanjeev Kumar (IAS), Chairman and Managing Director of Mahatransco, has congratulated the center on this achievement.
The awards ceremony was organized by the Independent Power Producers Association of India (IPPAI) in Belagavi. The awards were presented after evaluating the performance of power companies across the country.
The awards were presented by notable figures such as Ghanshyam Prasad, Chairman of the Central Electricity Authority; V. Raja, former Chairman of the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission; Rakeshnath, former Chairman of the Central Electricity Authority; and S.K. Soni, former Managing Director of Grid India.
The awards were received by Milind Devale, Superintendent Engineer; Umesh Bhagat, Deputy General Manager; Nitin Paunikar, Assistant General Manager (Finance & Accounts); Anand Dalvi, Assistant General Manager (Finance and Accounts); Dinesh Patil, Executive Engineer; Yogesh Aghor, Manager (Human Resources); and Vijay Kamble, Assistant Engineer from Maharashtra State Load Dispatch Center, Airoli.
This recognition was achieved under the guidance of Shashank Jewalikar, Executive Director, and Girish Pantoji, Chief Engineer, at the Maharashtra State Load Dispatch Center.
