Lok Sabha 24 : Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah addressed public meetings in Karnal, Hisar and Jhajjar, Haryana on Monday. Shri Amit Shah criticized the previous corrupt Congress government and highlighted various beneficial schemes for farmers in Haryana, initiated by the BJP government. During the event, Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini, former Haryana CM and Karnal Lok Sabha Candidate Shri Manohar Lal Khattar, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Kartikey Sharma, BJP National Secretary Shri Om Prakash Dhankar, Rajasthan MLA Baba Balaknath, Hisar Lok Sabha candidate Shri Ranjit Singh Chautala, and Jhajjar Lok Sabha candidate Shri Arvind Sharma, along with others, were present.

Union Home Minister stated that he has come to the land of the Danvir Karna and extends his greetings to the entire populace. He began his address by paying respects to Manjit Singh Gurudwara, Puccapur Dham and Chulkana Dham. Haryana is one of the few states in the country that significantly contributes to ending hunger in India, emphasizing that the granaries of the nation are filled due to the immense contribution of Haryana’s farmers. The responsibility of safeguarding the nation’s borders is undertaken by the soldiers from Haryana. Additionally, in any sport, whether played nationally or internationally, Haryana’s “Dhakkad” athletes are prominently seen at the top of the medal tally.

Shri Shah praised Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji for making substantial efforts in these areas. The long-pending issue of “One Rank One Pension” was addressed by the esteemed Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, who resolved it in his first term in 2014.He criticized former Haryana Chief Minister and INC leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda, questioning why the OROP issue remained unresolved during the Congress government’s 40-year tenure. Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji for providing the much-needed OROP to the soldiers and their families, a feat unaccomplished by the previous administration.

Union Home Minister emphasized that Kashmir is an integral part of India. He criticized AICC Leader Mallikarjun Kharge for questioning the connection between the people of Rajasthan and Haryana with Kashmir, asserting that every child in Haryana is ready to lay down their life for Kashmir. Congress leaders who suggest showing respect to Pakistan and refraining from claiming PoK because Pakistan has nuclear weapons, specifically referring to Manishankar Aiyar. Addressing Rahul Gandhi from the land of Angraj Karna in Karnal, Shri Amit Shah stated that regardless of Congress’s stance, the BJP government asserts that PoK was, is, and will remain a part of India. Congress party of keeping Article 370 intact for 70 years for appeasement politics, which led to increased terrorism. However, when the people elected Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji for a second term, he abolished Article 370 on August 5, 2019, and now the Indian tricolor flies proudly in Kashmir.

Shri Shah highlighted that Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji elevated India’s economy from the 11th to the 5th position globally, and if elected again Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji aims to bring it to the 3rd position. Ram Mandir issue, stating that the Congress party kept it unresolved for 70 years, but when Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji was re-elected, the case was won, and the foundation ceremony was conducted. On January 22, the temple performed “Pran Pratishtha” with chants of “Jai Shree Ram”. Congress leaders, including Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, for not attending the Ram Utsav despite invitations due to their fear of losing their minority vote bank. In contrast, BJP leaders, unafraid of such consequences, not only supported the Ram Mandir but also restored the Kashi Vishwanath temple, which was demolished by Aurangzeb, under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.

Union Home Minister stated that the Congress only talks about the poor but does nothing for their welfare. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi talks about farmers but insulted Shri Jagdeep Dankar, a farmer’s son who is a representative leader for the Jaat farmers. Before the Modi-led government came to power, the Congress government’s budget for farmers was ₹22,000 crore. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji increased this to ₹1,25,000 crore. Shri Manohar Lal Khattar has worked towards providing Minimum Support Price to farmers for all crops by including all crops under the Bhavantar Yojana.

Shri Shah stated that the Prime Minister of a country with 130 crore citizens should be someone who gives a befitting reply to Pakistan, ensures safety from COVID, ends triple talaq, retrieves Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, ends Naxalism, implements the Uniform Civil Code, and takes India to the forefront globally. The entire country, including all regions like the North, South, East and West, believes that the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji is the most effective representative for the country. The chant of “Modi-Modi” is now emblematic of national progress. Only Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, can lead the nation towards complete development, making Bharat Atmanirbhar, prosperous, educated and technologically advanced.

Union Home Minister said that during its rule, the Congress Party was involved in various scams, including the Bofors scam, helicopter scam, army vehicle scam, farmers’ fertilizer scam, rice scam and Commonwealth scam. He accused the Congress Party of only working to benefit itself during its time in power. Highlighting that Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji purchased grains worth ₹20 lakh crore from farmers at support prices. Since independence, the Modi-led government has bought the most food grains at support prices. Hon’ble Prime Minister has tripled the sports budget and is preparing to bring the Olympic Games to India by 2036.

Shri Shah stated that there are two camps in the upcoming elections. On one side is the Congress Party, which has committed scams amounting to ₹12 lakh crore. On the other side is Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, who has not been accused of even 25 paisa in corruption despite being in politics for 23 years. Shri Shah contrasted Rahul Gandhi, born with a silver spoon, with Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, who was born into a poor tea seller’s family.  Shri Shah also pointed out the difference in dedication between the two leaders. He mentioned that Rahul Gandhi goes to Thailand for a holiday as soon as it gets a little hot, while Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji does not take leave even on Diwali, choosing instead to celebrate the festival at the border with army personnel. Shri Amit Shah highlighted that four phases of voting have been completed in the country, and Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has already secured a majority by crossing 270 seats, now moving towards achieving 400 seats.

Union Home Minister stated that Rahul Gandhi, referred to as Rahul Gandhi, is not even going to secure 40 seats and the entire INDI Alliance is going to be wiped out. He remarked that before the 2024 elections, Rahul Gandhi conducted the Bharat Jodo Yatra, but after the June 4 elections, he will need to conduct a Congress Khojo Yatra as the Congress Party will be nowhere to be seen, not even with binoculars. Expressed confidence that in the 2024 elections, the lotus of development will bloom across Haryana, from Sirsa to Sonipat and from Panchkula to Palwal.

Shri Shah highlighted Haryana’s impressive economic achievements, noting its 8% growth rate and status as the top GST collector per capita among states. Haryana’s leading position in Ease of Doing business, boasting 400 offices of Fortune 500 companies situated in Gurugram. Furthermore, Haryana’s agricultural prowess, ranking second in the country, third in milk production, and offering the highest number of social security pensions nationwide. Additionally, Haryana tops the list for health facilities and is a leader in automobile and tractor manufacturing. The previous Congress administration of Bhupendra Hooda of favoritism towards his son-in-law and neglecting the common people of Haryana. He contrasted this with the transformative governance under Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, which has ensured essential amenities like water, toilets and gas cylinders for all households.

Shri Shah emphasized that Sonia Gandhi’s goal is to elevate her son to the position of Prime Minister, while Bhupendra Hooda aims for his son to become Chief Minister. Those who pursue political careers solely for their children’s advancement neglect the development of the nation’s youth. Only Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji possesses the capability to drive both the nation and Haryana forward. Shri Shah highlighted that under the leadership of the Modi government, Haryana has seen the construction of 21 new national highways, the establishment of AIIMS in Rewari, the extension of IIT Delhi in Jhajjar, the construction of a cancer hospital in Barsa costing Rs 2000 crore, and the creation of the largest bus station in the Jhajjar district, with a cost of Rs 24 crore.

Shri Shah stated that Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has a special connection with Haryana. The Congress-led UPA government sent only ₹41,000 crore to Haryana in 10 years, while the Modi-led government provided ₹2,70,000 crore to Haryana in the last 10 years. Under the leadership of Shri Manohar Lal Khattar, the BJP government has propelled the development wagon to its destination, and now the young Chief Minister Shri Nayaab Singh Saini will ensure it reaches the station. Shri Amit Shah appealed for the victory of the BJP on all seats in Haryana and for the formation of the Modi government for the third time.
