On Basant Panchami, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai Visits Maa Sharda Dham
Offers Prayers for the Prosperity and Well-being of the People at Saraswati Temple
On the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai visited Maa Sharda Dham in Devadelangi village, Jamtoli Gram Panchayat, Duldula Tehsil, Jashpur district. At the Maa Saraswati Temple located within the premises, he offered prayers and sought happiness, prosperity, and well-being for the people of the state.
Extending Basant Panchami greetings to all the devotees at Sharda Dham, Chief Minister Sai wished that Maa Saraswati’s blessings always remain with everyone. He emphasized the importance of knowledge and wisdom, stating that the Vedas describe human birth as a rare and fortunate opportunity after passing through 8.4 million life forms. He urged everyone to live a life of virtue and leave behind a legacy that people remember.
Highlighting the significance of education and sports, the Chief Minister appreciated the efforts being made at Sharda Dham to promote both fields. He also participated in the Akhanda Shri Hari Kirtan and Ram Naam Jap, a devotional event attended by devotees from 48 nearby villages and 12 kirtan groups.
CM Sai noted that the sacred Girma River flows near this renowned religious and tourist site, forming a natural boundary between Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. He remarked that the river symbolizes the unity of the two states’ cultures, flowing seamlessly as an eternal stream.
