Workshop-Cum-Training on NEP 2020 Organized by Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education
The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education, Raipur, has commenced a five-day workshop-cum-training program under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, following the directives of NCERT PARAKH, New Delhi. The initiative aims to train educators on the standardization of Holistic Progress Cards and Question Paper Templates. The program will develop master trainers who will subsequently train principals and teachers from all high and higher secondary schools in the state in the upcoming academic session.
The first two days of the workshop, February 3 and 4, 2025, focus on Holistic Progress Cards, while February 5 to 7 will cover the standardization of question paper templates. NCERT PARAKH’s Head of Department, Professor Indrani Bhaduri, along with three other experts, is leading the training sessions.
Inaugurating the workshop, Board Secretary Pushpa Sahu emphasized that Holistic Progress Cards provide a modern and comprehensive approach to student assessment, ensuring their overall development. Professor Bhaduri highlighted the importance of digital learning and equivalency at the secondary level, stressing the need for community-based projects.
The event was attended by Board Deputy Secretary J.K. Agrawal, Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sahu, Assistant Professors Preeti Shukla, Manishi Singh, Shiva Somvanshi, Chandra Prabha Rahgadale, Anshuman Kaser, Sirij Pal, and other officials and staff members.
