Congress Leader Sachin Pilot Takes a Holy Dip at Mahakumbh

Mahakumbh Nagar : The grand religious and cultural gathering at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj has already witnessed over 480 million devotees taking a holy dip. On the second day of Maghi Purnima, a continuous influx of pilgrims was seen, reaffirming their faith. Prominent personalities from across the country are also joining in to take a sacred dip in the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. On Thursday, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia also performed the holy ritual, praying for universal well-being. He expressed gratitude, calling the experience of bathing at the Sangam akin to attaining salvation. Uttar Pradesh’s Minister for Industrial Development, Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, welcomed Scindia with a Kumbh Kalash.

PM Modi and CM Yogi Appreciated

Union Minister Scindia expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for organizing such a divine and grand event. He remarked that generations wait for a moment when people from across the world gather at the Sangam for this spiritual experience. Acknowledging the participation of over 500 million devotees, he praised the meticulous arrangements made at Mahakumbh. Scindia also highlighted his ancestral ties to Prayagraj, recalling how his forefathers played a role in liberating the region from Mughal rule and restoring its spiritual significance.

Sachin Pilot Joins the Sacred Ritual

Former Union Minister and Congress MLA from Tonk, Rajasthan, Sachin Pilot, also took a holy dip at the Mahakumbh on Thursday. Sharing his experience on social media, he described the Mahakumbh as a symbol of faith and devotion. Pilot prayed for the progress and prosperity of the nation and its people.

Prakash Javadekar Lauds Yogi Government’s Arrangements

Former Union Minister Prakash Javadekar posted a video on social media, commending the Yogi government’s exceptional arrangements at Prayagraj Mahakumbh. He described the grand spectacle of faith, where millions gathered without any complaints or confusion. Sharing his personal experience, he wrote that his family had visited Mahakumbh last week and witnessed an overwhelming “sea of humanity” at Prayagraj. He noted that the chants of “Har Har Gange” resonated everywhere and appreciated that no devotee was left thirsty, hungry, or shelterless, thanks to the excellent arrangements made by the government.

Gujarat Minister Harsh Sanghavi Also Participates

Gujarat’s Minister of Home, Industry, Transport, Youth, and Sports (Independent Charge) Harsh Sanghavi also visited Prayagraj to be a part of the grand Mahakumbh. After taking a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, he performed traditional rituals with devotion. Notably, actor Vicky Kaushal accompanied him during the event. Sanghavi also met prominent saints, including Satua Baba and Juna Akhara’s Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Avadheshanand Giri, seeking their blessings.
