Safety Kit Distribution Camps for Construction Workers in Every Taluka

The Maharashtra Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (Mumbai) is committed to the welfare of laborers. To ensure workers have proper safety kits and the necessary utensils for daily sustenance, the government has planned a distribution initiative.

To avoid confusion between eligible and ineligible beneficiaries, Minister Bawankule instructed that each taluka should host a three-day camp, allowing the scheme to effectively reach deserving beneficiaries.

He also directed that workers should be informed in advance via messages about the time and date of kit distribution.

Additionally, a review of the Land Records Department was conducted during the meeting. Minister Bawankule noted that many complaints have been received regarding land measurement issues and instructed the department to implement a structured schedule for conducting land surveys at the taluka level to resolve these grievances efficiently.
