Government Schools Becoming High-Tech and Digital Under Yogi Government

Greater Noida : The Yogi government is bringing historic reforms in the education sector. Continuing this effort, a newly constructed, high-tech primary school equipped with modern facilities was inaugurated in Mathurapur, Dadri, Greater Noida by Minister of State for Basic Education (Independent Charge) Sandeep Singh on Tuesday.

Minister Singh emphasized that under CM Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, government schools are undergoing a remarkable transformation to realize PM Narendra Modi’s vision of a “Developed India.” He expressed confidence that under PM Modi’s leadership, India is advancing towards becoming a global leader.

Every School Equipped with Basic Facilities

Minister Sandeep Singh stressed that if India aims to become a developed nation, its schools must be equipped with modern amenities, as the country’s future depends on them. Taking a jibe at previous governments, he remarked that such schools were unimaginable a few years ago, with many lacking even blackboards, benches, and proper roofs.

However, today, no school in the state lacks basic infrastructure. Through “Operation Kayakalp,” the government is revamping over 1.3 lakh government schools, benefiting 1.57 crore students with modern education. Work has been completed on 97% of 19 key parameters set for school improvement.

Government Schools Now Compete with Convent Schools

Praising the newly built school, Minister Singh stated that government schools are now comparable to convent and public schools. The Yogi government is not just upgrading infrastructure but also empowering teachers with high-quality facilities. He added that teachers in government schools are more qualified and skilled than those in private institutions.

CM Model Schools in 57 Districts

The minister announced that the Yogi government is building “CM Model Schools” in 57 districts, each costing ₹30 crore. These schools will feature digital classrooms and smart learning environments to provide high-quality education.

Acknowledging the digital era, he mentioned that students now have greater access to smartphones, tablets, and gadgets. The UP government is providing these devices to students, ensuring they remain connected to modern education methods. However, he also cautioned against excessive gadget use, highlighting the government’s focus on sports, moral education, and extracurricular activities to ensure holistic development.

Buildings Named After Great Personalities & Water Harvesting Initiatives

A unique feature of this school is that each classroom is named after great Indian figures, including Vashistha, Vishwamitra, Dronacharya, and Valmiki. The construction ensured no trees were cut, and the campus houses over 100 trees.

Additionally, this school features Uttar Pradesh’s largest 40 KLD water harvesting system, integrating sustainability with education.

State-of-the-Art Digital Classrooms

The school is fully equipped with smart boards, digital classrooms, proper ventilation, and lighting to enhance the learning experience.

Minister Singh reaffirmed the Yogi government’s commitment to providing convent-school-level education to poor and middle-class children, ensuring no student is deprived of modern education due to financial constraints.

Under CM Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, government schools are becoming high-tech, digital, and student-friendly, paving the way for a new era in education. 🚀📚
