Provisional Merit List Announced for Maharashtra Civil Engineering Services Main Examination 2023

Mumbai : The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has released the provisional general merit list of qualified candidates for the Maharashtra Civil Engineering Services (Main) Examination 2023.

Candidate interviews were conducted at the Navi Mumbai center between March 4 and May 9, 2025. Following the completion of interviews, the Commission has published the provisional list on its official website. This list is temporary, and changes in the order of merit or disqualification of candidates may occur after document verification, before the final result is declared.

The final decision on this list will depend on the outcome of various pending court cases. Candidates must submit their post preference online through the Commission’s website between May 10 and May 16, 2025.

While submitting preferences, candidates must choose from the seven cadres notified by the Commission. If no specific choice is made, the ‘No Preference’ option should be selected. Once submitted, the preferences cannot be modified after the deadline. Also, if no preference is recorded, the candidate’s recommendation will not be considered.
