Nara Lokesh Pays Tribute to Agniveer Muralinaik, Announces State Support Package

Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh paid heartfelt tributes to Agniveer Muralinaik, a brave soldier from Kallithanda village in Gorantla mandal, who laid down his life while serving the nation. Visiting the martyr’s home, Lokesh offered condolences to the grieving family and assured them of the government’s unwavering support.

Accompanied by ministers Anagani Satya Prasad, Vangalapudi Anitha, and Savitha, MP B.K. Parthasarathi, former ministers Palle Raghunatha Reddy and Kalava Srinivasulu, MLAs Palle Sindhura Reddy and M.S. Raju, and senior TDP leader J.C. Prabhakar Reddy, Lokesh offered floral tributes to the fallen soldier. The government will conduct Muralinaik’s final rites with full official honours.

Speaking to the family and the gathered public, Lokesh recalled that Muralinaik had aspired to serve the country since childhood. He once told his family that if he ever died, he would want to do so wrapped in the national flag. Lokesh said the entire state mourns the loss of the young Agniveer and salutes his supreme sacrifice.

As a mark of respect and support, Lokesh announced a relief package for the bereaved family: ₹50 lakh in financial compensation, five acres of agricultural land, and a 300-square-yard housing plot. Additionally, he assured that a government job would be provided to Muralinaik’s father.

Lokesh emphasized that the nation’s safety is ensured by such brave hearts and that the government would always honour and support their families.
