Chief Minister Reviews MoUs Signed at Rising Rajasthan Summit

Jaipur – Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma stated that the government aims to grow Rajasthan’s economy to USD 350 billion by 2030. The timely implementation of the MoUs signed during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit is proving to be a milestone in achieving this goal. Approximately MoUs worth ₹37 lakh crore were signed during the summit, out of which investment agreements worth ₹3 lakh crore have already been realized on the ground. He emphasized that these investments will accelerate industrial development and generate ample employment opportunities for the youth. He directed officials to maintain regular dialogue with investors to meet their expectations.

CM Sharma was reviewing the progress of MoUs signed in sectors such as tourism, medical education, healthcare, textiles & garments, automobiles, and electric vehicles at the Chief Minister’s Office on Tuesday. He instructed district collectors to make swift decisions on land allotment as per investor requirements and facilitate site visits to explore all available land options.

The Chief Minister mentioned that the state government machinery is fully committed to implementing all MoUs signed during the summit. To further accelerate implementation and ensure better coordination among departments, he directed the appointment of nodal officers. These officers will be responsible for regular review, studying technical aspects, and initiating prompt actions. He also stated that the government expects all investors to complete their projects within the stipulated timeline.

New Tourism Policy to Boost Tourism Sector in Rajasthan

CM Sharma highlighted the vital role of tourism in the state’s economy. He said the government has recently introduced an ambitious tourism policy aimed at promoting tourism activities, which will give momentum to the sector and ensure the holistic development of tourist destinations. Rajasthan is rapidly advancing by opening new avenues in eco, rural, heritage, adventure, and religious tourism. The state has emerged as a preferred destination on the global tourism map. The government is dedicated to increasing employment opportunities in this sector.

Promising Opportunities for Youth in the Medical Sector

The Chief Minister stressed that strengthening quality healthcare services from villages to small towns is a key objective of the government. He noted that the medical field offers excellent career opportunities for the youth due to the consistent global demand for skilled healthcare professionals. He added that the medical colleges and hospitals being set up under the MoUs signed during the Rising Rajasthan Summit will further strengthen the state’s healthcare infrastructure.

While reviewing the implementation of MoUs in the automobile and electric vehicle sectors, CM Sharma stated that with limited natural resources, the importance of electric vehicles is increasing. He assured that the government is addressing key investor concerns through a single-window system.

Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant, senior officials from various departments, and relevant investors were present at the meeting. Several district collectors also joined via video conference.
