Chhattisgarh Government Fulfilling PM Modi’s Vision by Providing Pucca Houses to the Poor: CM Vishnu Deo Sai

CM Interacts with Villagers During Good Governance Festival in Bhainsa; Flags Off 10 Awareness Raths for ‘Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan’

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai emphasized that the Chhattisgarh government is actively realizing Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision by ensuring that no poor family remains without a pucca (permanent) house. He stated this while attending the Good Governance Camp (Sushasan Tihar) in the village of Bhainsa, Raipur district.

As part of the nation-wide ‘Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan’ running from May 29 to June 12 under the leadership of PM Modi, the Chief Minister flagged off ten awareness vehicles (Jagrukta Raths) to promote the campaign. During the event, he handed over keys to 110 beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), symbolizing not just access to housing but dignity and security for every poor household.

Highlighting the government’s commitment, the Chief Minister stated that over 18 lakh PMAY houses have already been sanctioned across Chhattisgarh. He assured that remaining eligible families will be covered under the ‘Awas Plus Plus’ scheme to ensure comprehensive housing for all.

To support the development of Bhainsa and surrounding areas, CM Sai announced developmental works worth ₹3.5 crore. These include ₹75 lakh for a Primary Health Centre, ₹75 lakh for the construction of a high school building, ₹55 lakh for water tank and pipeline extension, ₹50 lakh for a higher secondary school, ₹20 lakh for boundary walls and sheds, ₹42 lakh for pipeline expansion in Amodi village, and ₹24 lakh for constructing three additional classrooms in the higher secondary school. He also announced the establishment of a new police outpost in Bhainsa.

During the camp, the Chief Minister personally took feedback from several scheme beneficiaries. One such beneficiary, Mrs. Chandan, thanked him for the ‘Mahtari Vandan Yojana’, saying the financial support helps her meet her children’s educational and essential needs.

CM Sai remarked that good governance becomes meaningful only when its impact reaches every home and every village. He said, “Today, the keys to these PMAY homes are not just for houses but for restoring dignity and providing a secure life to our people.”
