“Salary hike for electricity company officials and employees – Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis”
Mumbai : Maharashtra Chief Minister and Energy Minister Devendra Fadnavis has announced a 19% increase in the basic salaries and a 25% increase in all allowances for officials and employees of Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited, Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited, and Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited.
Today, at Sahyadri Guest House, officials and employees of Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited, Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited, and Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited discussed salary restructuring. Present at this meeting were Additional Chief Secretary of the Energy Department, Ms. Abha Shukla, Chairman and Managing Director of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company, Lokesh Chandra, Chairman and Managing Director of Maharashtra State Power Generation Company, Dr. P. Anbalagan, and Chairman and Managing Director of Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, along with senior officials and representatives of the organizations.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri. Fadnavis stated that they have agreed to increase the basic salaries of officers and employees of all three electricity companies by 19% and all allowances by 25%. Additionally, they have decided to increase the examination period allowance for assistants to Rs. 5,000 and the technical staff allowance from Rs. 500 to Rs. 1,000.
