Farmers Get a Boost with 50% Subsidy on Agro-Units: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the government shares a strong relationship of development and trust with the people of Gadarwara. He announced that farmers in Madhya Pradesh will be encouraged to establish agro-based industries. Agricultural trade fairs are being organized to promote this initiative. Farmers who set up such industries will receive a subsidy of up to 50%. Employment-generating units connected to agriculture will also be established, offering workers a monthly remuneration of Rs. 5,000. CM Dr. Yadav also announced the construction of a Gaushala in Gadarwara and the provision of smooth public transport services across the state. He was addressing a public gathering at Gadarwara in Narsinghpur district. CM inaugurated and performed Bhoomi-Poojan for development projects worth more than Rs. 80 crores.

CM Dr. Yadav highlighted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India has reached new heights of development and gained global recognition. As the Prime Minister completes 11 years of service and good governance, the achievements are evident to all. During his tenure, the Triple Talaq law was passed peacefully, Article 370 was abrogated creating national unity, and a strong response was given to the Pahalgam attack. PM Modi also elevated Sanatan culture by presiding over the Pran Pratishtha of Lord Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. Under his leadership, significant progress is being made in empowering the poor, youth, farmers and women.

Mission to Educate the New Generation

CM Dr. Yadav welcomed newly enrolled schoolchildren with a traditional ‘Tilak’ and distributed books to them. He said that efforts are being made to provide quality education so that children can understand the values of democracy, culture, and civilization and realise their dreams.

Women Empowerment a Priority

The Chief Minister emphasised that the state government is implementing various welfare initiatives for women’s empowerment. Under the ‘Ladli Behna Yojana’, the monthly amount will be increased to Rs.3,000 within five years. He remarked that now, due to this scheme, every month feels like a festive occasion for sisters. Furthermore, 33% reservation for women will be implemented in Lok Sabha and Assembly elections following delimitation.

CM Dr. Yadav inaugurated and performed Bhoomi-Poojan through remote control for 135 development works worth Rs. 80.46 crores. These included Inauguration of 67 projects worth Rs. 56.58 crores and Bhoomi-Poojan of 68 projects worth Rs. 23.88 crores. He reaffirmed that there will be no compromise in the state’s development. Proposals submitted by Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh for the district will be fulfilled. Large-scale solar power connections will be provided to free farmers from electricity shortages.

Statewide Launch of Mukhyamantri Sugam Bus Yojana

CM Dr. Yadav announced the upcoming launch of the Mukhyamantri Sugam Bus Yojana across the state for passenger convenience. The State Transport Corporation will resume bus operations throughout Madhya Pradesh. A 132 kV power substation will be set up in Saikheda. He also declared construction of a 20 km road from Chichli to Salichouka at a cost of Rs. 60 crores and construction of a 17.5 km road from Arjungaon to Gadarwara at a cost of Rs. 27 crores.

CM Dr. Yadav encouraged the use of bronze and brass utensils, which would generate employment for local artisans in areas like Chichli. Festivals like Guru Purnima and Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated with enthusiasm, along with traditional Ravana Dahan and Shastra Poojan during Dussehra. Water conservation efforts under the Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan and river-linking projects are progressing rapidly.

Felicitation of Students and Teachers

The Chief Minister felicitated the students, who ranked in the state merit list of Classes 10 and 12 and teachers who demonstrated excellence in academics. School Education and Transport Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister, stating that CM Dr. Yadav has sanctioned development works worth Rs.350 crores for Gadarwara within one and a half years. He also thanked him for allocating Rs. 2 crores for the beautification of the Gadarwara pond.

CM Dr. Yadav and other dignitaries visited an exhibition organized by the Education Department and interacted with students. MP Shri Chaudhary Darshan Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Smt. Maya Narolia, MLA Shri Vishwanath Singh Patel, Sohagpur MLA Shri Vijay Pal Singh and Former Rajya Sabha MP Shri Kailash Soni were present as dignitaries
