YEIDA’s 54 proposals set to transform Greater Noida and surrounding regions
Greater Noida : Taking a major step towards realising Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision of transforming Uttar Pradesh into Uttam Pradesh, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has cleared 54 significant proposals in its 85th Board meeting. These proposals outline a strategic roadmap for the future-ready development of Greater Noida and YEIDA’s entire notified area.

The meeting, chaired by YEIDA Chairman Alok Kumar and attended by CEO Dr Arun Vir Singh and other senior officials, approved key decisions relating to infrastructure, security, tourism, industrial growth, rural development and plot allocation—geared towards achieving the objectives of Master Plan-2041.
YEIDA’s jurisdiction includes 1,149 revenue villages across Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Hathras, Mathura, and Agra districts. Among these, Gautam Buddha Nagar and Bulandshahr fall under Master Plan-2041, while the remaining four districts are part of Phase-2 of the notified area.
Boost to security and tourism
The Board approved the establishment of a new police station on 1,000 sq m of land in the Noida International Airport region to enhance security infrastructure.
In sectors 22F and 23B, proposals for developing recreational green zones such as a golf course, gymkhana club, and Yamuna Haat were approved. Additionally, major tourism and recreational projects—including Kingdom of Dreams, Olympic Village, theme park, aviation museum, Oxford Gold Resort, Delhi Haat, Cubbon Park, and Delhi Gymkhana Club—are to be developed under the PPP model. The finalisation of guidelines and terms for these projects is currently underway.

Focus on rural development
A regional-level plan for Phase-2 under Master Plan-2031 was presented for areas outside urban centres, focusing on the use of agricultural land and planned development in rural zones. A framework has been created to allow residential, institutional, public and essential commercial activities within a 200-metre radius of rural settlements.
Industrial expansion and infrastructure upgrade
Approval was granted for the setting up of an Electronic Manufacturing Cluster (EMC 2.0) in Sector-10 on 200 acres with Central government support. The cluster will include dedicated facilities such as data centres, hostels, and skill development centres for international companies.
Fire stations will be established in Sectors 18 and 32 on a total of 7,485 sq m land. In Sector-29, under the National Executive Aviation Cluster (NAEC), plots have been allocated to 82 members, out of which 61 registrations have already been completed.
OTS scheme revival and plot development
YEIDA plans to relaunch its highly successful One-Time Settlement (OTS) scheme from July 1 to August 31, 2025, after it previously generated over ₹551 crore. The move aims to offer defaulters a chance to clear dues.
The authority also plans to develop around 28,900 plots of 30 sq m each for the informal sector in Sectors 16, 17, 18, 20, and 22D. Additionally, 4,288 plots have already been identified. For power-intensive industries, 2 hectares have been earmarked for a dedicated Steel Industrial Cluster.
