Minister Lakshmi Rajwade Conducts Surprise Inspection of Anganwadi and Primary School
Raipur : Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade conducted a surprise inspection of an Anganwadi centre and a government primary school located in the Panch Mandir Ward of Surajpur. During her visit, the Minister reviewed children’s education, nutrition, hygiene, and the overall academic environment.

At the Anganwadi, she checked the attendance of children, the quality of the nutritional meals, vaccination records, and the use of the Nutrition Tracker app. She instructed staff to ensure regular monitoring of malnourished children and to provide them with high-quality, nutritious food.
In the primary school, Smt. Rajwade interacted with the teachers and sought updates on the curriculum, midday meal services, and distribution of textbooks. She also engaged with the children to learn about their studies and aspirations.

Minister Rajwade emphasized that a strong childhood is the foundation of a strong future. She reiterated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the Chhattisgarh government is giving high priority to child development. She directed officials to conduct regular inspections and maintain efficient systems for the welfare of children.
District Programme Officer, Block Education Officer (BEO), Anganwadi workers, school teachers, and local public representatives were also present during the inspection.
