Chief Minister Meets Union Minister Of State For Fisheries, Animal Husbandry And Dairying
Aizawl : As part of his visit to Delhi to pursue important matters for Mizoram’s development, Chief Minister Mr. Lalduhoma today met with Pu George Kurian, Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying.
During the meeting, they held discussions on various projects aimed at improving livestock, dairy, and fishery sectors in Mizoram. The Chief Minister highlighted five proposals submitted by the State under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY), which include:
Integrated Aqua Park to be established at Zawlnuam
Project under Chakma Autonomous District Council
Project by the Mizoram Fish Farmers, Animal and Husbandry, Dairy Producers and Marketing Association
Project by the Mizoram Cooperative Fish Farming Marketing and Processing Federation Limited
Project under the Lai Autonomous District Council
The Chief Minister urged the Union Minister of State to expedite the necessary approvals and sanctions for these proposals.
The Union Minister assured the Chief Minister that he would personally look into the proposals and extend his support for their approval and implementation.
