Chief Minister Meets K. Moses Chalai, IAS, Secretary, Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Finance

Aizawl : During his ongoing visit to Delhi, Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma held a meeting with K. Moses Chalai, IAS, Secretary of the Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Finance, at Mizoram House, New Delhi. The two discussed the allocation and utilisation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds for the development of Mizoram.

The Chief Minister informed the Secretary that he had already submitted a proposal to the Union Finance Minister requesting a 10% allocation of CSR funds specifically for the Northeastern States, including Mizoram. In response, the Secretary assured that efforts would be made to ensure that Mizoram could secure a larger share of CSR contributions.

The Chief Minister also expressed gratitude to the Secretary, who had previously served as the Secretary of the North Eastern Council (NEC), for prioritising and sanctioning several key projects for Mizoram during his tenure.
