Interstate Deliberation Crucial for Successful Implementation of Welfare Schemes: Andhra Pradesh BISUKA Chairman
Praised Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma’s Commitment to Public Welfare
Jaipur – Shri Dinakar Lanka, Chairman of BISUKA (Twenty Point Programme) from Andhra Pradesh, emphasized the importance of interstate deliberations to ensure the effective implementation of welfare schemes. He noted that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the central government’s welfare initiatives are playing a vital role in achieving the vision of a “Developed India 2047.”
Speaking at a meeting held at Yojana Bhawan under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary, Planning Department, Shri Bhawani Singh Detha, Shri Lanka said that the “double-engine government” is ensuring effective execution of social security pension schemes. To realize the vision of a developed India, he stressed that both central and state welfare initiatives must be jointly evaluated and strengthened through mutual learning and exchange of best practices.
He underlined the importance of exchanging ideas and successful models across states, which would help enhance the effectiveness and impact of developmental efforts. He lauded Rajasthan as an inspiring model, citing the effective implementation of welfare schemes under Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, especially the progress made under the Guru Golwalkar Aspirational Block Development Scheme that targeted the upliftment of 41 backward blocks.
Shri Lanka praised multiple Rajasthan government schemes such as the Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya (MA) Yojana, Panch Gaurav, Pt. Deendayal Antyodaya Sambal Fortnight 2025, Vande Ganga Abhiyan, RGHS, and Jan Aadhaar Yojana. He also reviewed the progress of national schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, PMGSY, PM Vishwakarma Yojana, PM SVANidhi, and MGNREGA in the state.
Principal Secretary Shri Detha reiterated that the Rajasthan government is committed to inclusive development through the principle of Antyodaya, with continuous efforts to empower the poor, youth, women, and farmers. He stressed the state’s persistent efforts toward poverty eradication and improving the quality of life for common citizens.
Earlier, Joint Secretary (Planning) Shri Narendra Manghani provided a detailed presentation on the state’s major welfare schemes, including the Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya (MA) Yojana, Accident Insurance Scheme, Panch Gaurav, Guru Golwalkar Aspirational Block Development Scheme, Lado Incentive Scheme, Gas Subsidy Scheme, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Poverty-Free Village Scheme, Ayushman Bal Sambal Scheme, Amrit Aahar Scheme, and the Karma Bhoomi to Matri Bhoomi campaign.
Shri C.P. Mandawariya, Joint Secretary, Institutional Finance and BISUKA, also presented updates on BISUKA’s progress in the state.
The meeting was attended by Director of Economics and Statistics Shri Vinesh Singhi and other senior officials from various departments.
