Successful Conclusion of Five-Day “Krishak Sakhi/CRP Training” under National Mission on Natural Farming
Jaipur : A five-day “Krishak Sakhi/Community Resource Person (CRP) Training”, organized by the Department of Agriculture under the National Mission on Natural Farming (NMNF), concluded successfully on Saturday at the Directorate of Extension Education, Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University (SKNAU), Jobner.
Dr. Balraj Singh, Vice-Chancellor of SKNAU, was the chief guest of the program. He encouraged trainees to adopt natural farming by effectively utilizing agricultural resources and emphasized the significance of sustainable and chemical-free agriculture practices.
Mr. Ishwar Lal Yadav, Additional Director of Agriculture (Extension), Jaipur division, was the guest of honour. He highlighted the importance of natural farming in producing poison-free food and preventing modern lifestyle diseases.
Dr. S.R. Dhaka, Director of Extension Education at SKNAU, who presided over the session, stressed the need to spread awareness about natural farming among the rural farming communities.
Mr. Bhagwan Sahay Yadav, Deputy Director of Agriculture and ex-officio Project Director of ATMA (Agricultural Technology Management Agency), Jaipur, explained the roles and responsibilities of Krishi Sakhis.
Dr. Suresh Yadav, Assistant Director, Agricultural Extension, Jobner, provided in-depth insights into the National Mission on Natural Farming.
As part of the training, participants were taken for field visits to the Rudra Shivam Dairy in Bhairana and the Natural Farming Unit at Jobner Agricultural University to gain practical exposure.
The program also witnessed the presence of Training Coordinator Dr. Banwari Lal Asiwal, Dr. Ramavatar Sharma, Dr. Roshan Choudhary, and Agriculture Officer Mr. Dinesh Kumawat, among others.
