Intensive Review of Preparations for State-Level Independence Day Celebrations 2025 – Divisional Commissioner, District Collector, and Police Commissioner Inspect Main Venue in Jodhpur

Jaipur : In order to ensure a dignified and well-organized State-level Independence Day Celebration 2025, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Pratibha Singh, District Collector Gaurav Agarwal, and Police Commissioner Om Prakash conducted a detailed review of preparations in Jodhpur on Wednesday.

On this occasion, the officials inspected the main venue at Barkatullah Khan Stadium and reviewed various arrangements.

Divisional Commissioner Dr. Pratibha Singh directed that all departmental in-charges must complete the responsibilities assigned to them on time and with quality. She emphasized that no laxity should be allowed in any arrangement, whether related to security or public convenience. Continuous coordination between all departments should be ensured to finalize the preparations, she added.

During the inspection, Police Commissioner Om Prakash discussed security arrangements, parking facilities, guest arrival and exit routes, barricading, and traffic management with the concerned officials, giving necessary instructions.

District Collector Gaurav Agarwal instructed all departmental heads to complete their assigned duties and tasks as per the program schedule within the stipulated timeline. He reviewed detailed arrangements for guest reception, seating arrangements, cultural programs, drinking water and sanitation, lighting arrangements, and emergency medical services.

After inspecting the main venue, the District Collector chaired a meeting in the stadium’s conference hall to review the progress of responsibilities assigned earlier to each department. The meeting also discussed in detail the arrangements for the proposed “At Home” program on August 14, cultural performances, and events to be held at the Shaheed Smarak (Martyrs’ Memorial) and Barkatullah Khan Stadium on August 15.

Senior administrative officers and officials from the Municipal Corporation, JDA, Zila Parishad, Education Department, Health Department, Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), and other concerned departments were present at the meeting.
