“Road Connectivity to Tribal Regions Will Accelerate Development” – CM Sai

Raipur : Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai paid a courtesy visit to Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, at his residence. During the meeting, the two leaders held an in-depth discussion on the construction of national highways, the progress of ongoing road projects, and future infrastructure plans in Chhattisgarh.

CM Sai briefed Minister Gadkari on the status of major road projects underway in the state and reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to completing them on schedule. He emphasized the government’s efforts to connect remote and tribal areas with main roads, aiming to improve connectivity and open up economic opportunities for local residents.

The discussion also focused on the need to strengthen road networks in industrial zones and newly formed districts, which are crucial for the state’s overall development. CM Sai highlighted that roads are not just a means of transport, but also the foundation for employment, investment, and social transformation.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari appreciated the state government’s priorities and vision, assuring that the Central Government will continue to extend full cooperation. He said that enhancing road access to tribal regions will not only accelerate growth, but also bring about sustainable and positive changes in those areas.

CM Sai also shared insights on “Chhattisgarh Anjor Vision 2047”, the state’s long-term development strategy, which aims to build an integrated and eco-friendly transport system. He informed the Union Minister that the Chhattisgarh government is placing top priority on road connectivity in rural and border areas, to ensure that the benefits of development reach every citizen.
