New Website 2.0 for Partnership Registration Launched; More Convenient Modern Facilities Available for the Public – CM Devendra Fadnavis

Mumbai, Aug 2025 : Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed confidence that the upgraded website developed by the Registrar of Partnership Institutions will provide faster, transparent, and easier services to partnership institutions and citizens.

At his official residence, Varsha, Chief Minister Fadnavis inaugurated the enhanced 2.0 version of the website for the Registrar of Partnership Institutions, Maharashtra State, Mumbai.

New Modern 2.0 Website for the Registrar of Partnership Institutions

The website, available at https://www.rof.mahaonline.gov.in, has been improved according to the needs of the times and technical advancements to provide the public with a more user-friendly, modern experience. The enhancements made to this website will save the public time, money, and effort. Additionally, under the government’s ‘Ease of Doing Business’ initiative, there is now a facility to submit partnership institution applications through a one-stop-window portal on the new website. This will create a conducive environment for business growth and boost the state’s economic progress, according to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

The main department of the Registrar of Partnership Institutions in Mumbai was established in 1958, and to date, 800,000 partnership institutions have been registered. This department has three regional offices located in Pune, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, and Nagpur. The process for registration and amendments of partnership institutions commenced in June 2012 via the mah.gov.in website, marking the beginning of a paperless registration process. In October 2017, the Maha-IT department launched the 1.0 website. This system provided amenities such as online application submission, online payment of fees and fines, document uploads, submission of objections, and issuance of registration certificates in digital format. Since the storage capacity of the 1.0 website was found to be inadequate, the Maha-IT team has now developed the 2.0 system to resolve these shortcomings.

Features of the New System:

– Dedicated telephone support and appointment of an expert to address technical issues by Maha-IT.

– Applications and documents will be permanently stored on unlimited cloud storage, preventing website slowdowns.

– A rectification facility, which wasn’t previously available, is now included.

– Online facility for resetting user IDs and passwords, eliminating the need to visit the office in person.

Present at the inauguration of the upgraded website were Chief Secretary Rajesh Kumar, Commissioner of the State Service Rights Commission Manukumar Srivastava, Commissioner of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation Bhushan Gagriani, Principal Secretary of the IT Department Parag Jain Nainutia, Managing Director of Maha-IT Sanjay Katkar, Principal Secretary of the Law and Justice Department Ms. Suvarna Kewale, Senior Legal Advisor Uday Shukla, and Registrar of Partnership Institutions Ms. Kavita Satyanarayan Navandar, among others.
