Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami Reviews Law and Order, Road Conditions, Seva Fortnight, and Other Public Welfare Issues
Sept 2025 : Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday chaired a high-level meeting at the Secretariat to review the state’s law and order situation, road conditions, Seva Fortnight, and other matters related to public welfare.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister issued necessary directives to officials, stressing that providing citizens with smooth, safe, and transparent governance is the government’s top priority. He gave clear instructions that strict action must be taken against those disrupting law and order in the state. Regular surveillance with CCTV cameras should be ensured at all sensitive locations, and intensive checking campaigns should be carried out along state borders. He also emphasized that night patrolling by the police must be made more effective.
The Chief Minister directed that a special campaign be launched after the monsoon to make all roads pothole-free. He said the tendering process for road repairs and maintenance should be completed immediately to ensure timely implementation.
Highlighting upcoming initiatives, the Chief Minister said that from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17 until Gandhi Jayanti on October 2, a statewide Seva Fortnight will be organized. During this period, service-oriented, public awareness, and welfare programs will be held across all districts. He instructed officials to prepare detailed action plans for each district and implement them within a fixed timeline.
The Chief Minister added that he himself would tour various districts by road to directly inspect the arrangements. Taking serious note of complaints regarding sand-mixed salt, he ordered immediate sample collection and testing, warning that strict action would be taken against anyone found guilty.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary R.K. Sudhanshu, Secretary Shailesh Bagauli, Director General of Police Deepam Seth, Additional DGP A.P. Anshuman, Special Secretary Dr. Parag Madhukar Dhakate, and Additional Secretary Banshidhar Tiwari.
