“Through Teacher Education, Teachers Show Us the Way to Live” – Shri Sanjay Sharma

Teachers Honored for Outstanding Contribution in Education; “Saarthi-2025” Released by Forest Minister

Jaipur, Sept 2025 : Forest and Environment State Minister (Independent Charge) Shri Sanjay Sharma participated in the District-Level Teacher Appreciation Ceremony 2025 at Knowledge City School, Alwar, on Friday, where teachers excelling in the field of education were honored. On this occasion, Shri Sharma also planted saplings in the school campus as part of his daily tree-planting pledge, promoting environmental conservation.

Shri Sharma paid tribute to Bharat Ratna Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary and extended warm greetings on Teacher’s Day. He stated that a true teacher not only imparts knowledge but also guides us in life. After mothers, teachers hold a crucial place in our lives, serving as protectors and mentors for students. Teachers, like master potters, play a vital role in shaping students into responsible citizens. He also thanked philanthropists for supporting and advancing the education system.

Referring to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s call “One Tree for Mother”, Shri Sharma highlighted that under the Harialo Rajasthan campaign initiated by CM Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, 7.35 crore saplings were planted across Rajasthan last year. This year, the government set a target of 10 crore saplings, surpassing it by planting over 11 crore saplings, with photos uploaded on the Harialo Rajasthan app.

He emphasized the education department’s key role in achieving these plantation targets, noting that the district’s target of 1.3 million saplings has been exceeded with around 2.1 million saplings planted and documented on the app. By nurturing these plants, citizens contribute to environmental conservation.

During the district-level ceremony, Shri Sharma honored teachers for outstanding work in education. Additionally, at the state-level ceremony at Birla Auditorium, Jaipur, teachers from the district, Shri Chhaganlal Sharma and Shri Madan Lal Yadav, were recognized for their exceptional contributions.

Shri Sanjay Sharma also attended the 15th Foundation Day of the Electricity Corporation Retired Employees Welfare Committee at Police Investigation Building, Marriage Garden, Jaipur, and released the organization’s commemorative publication, Saarthi-2025.
