Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav Inspects Environmental and Sanitation Sites in Bhiwadi, Urges Public Cooperation

Jaipur, Sept 2025 : Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change and MP from Alwar, Shri Bhupender Yadav, visited Central Park and Baba Mohan Ram Nagar Van in Bhiwadi early Saturday morning as part of his tour of Khairthal-Tijara. During the visit, he interacted with local residents, listened to their expectations and concerns, and appealed to the public to actively contribute in making Bhiwadi a clean, green, and developed city.

The Minister began his inspection at Central Park, where he met with citizens, shared ideas, and urged them to participate enthusiastically in cleanliness drives. He then inspected Baba Mohan Ram Nagar Van, a 102-hectare urban forest developed using the Miyawaki method, where over 100,000 saplings have already been planted, significantly boosting the region’s ecological balance. On this occasion, Shri Yadav also participated in a tree plantation activity within the Nagar Van.

Following this, he inspected the Sarekhurd Dam to explore a permanent solution to Bhiwadi’s long-standing waterlogging problem. He studied the geographical features of the area and held detailed discussions with officials to work out a long-term resolution.

Highlighting the ongoing national campaign, Shri Yadav informed that, as per the Government of India’s directive, a Swachhata Pakhwada (Cleanliness Fortnight) is being observed across the country from September 17 until Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti. Under this initiative, cleanliness activities will be conducted with active public participation.

He emphasized that every citizen must use dustbins outside their homes, ensure household waste segregation, and properly dispose of waste through auto-tippers. Shri Yadav stressed that cooperation between citizens and the administration is key to transforming Bhiwadi into a clean, beautiful, and environmentally sustainable city, adding that people’s participation is the greatest strength in achieving the vision of a Swachh Bharat.
