Chief Minister Interacts with Officers Undergoing Mizoram Civil Service Combined Foundation Course Training
Aizawl, Sept 2025: Today, Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma met with the newly selected officers from the Mizoram Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination who are currently undergoing the Combined Foundation Course training at the Administrative Training Institute. The group included officers of MCS (Mizoram Civil Service), MFAS (Mizoram Finance & Accounts Service), and MIS (Mizoram Information Service). The interaction was held at the Chief Minister’s Conference Hall.
The Chief Minister, while extending his congratulations, encouraged the officers to carry out their responsibilities with sincerity and dedication. He reminded them that their work is a calling to serve the people, entrusted by God. He expressed happiness that officers from various services are undergoing training together, noting that such interactions would create strong bonds and mutual understanding among them, which would be beneficial in their future service.
He also advised the officers to avoid unnecessary service rivalries, which, he observed, often become too prevalent in Mizoram. “Such unhealthy competition is undesirable—please do not let it grow among you,” he urged. The Chief Minister further encouraged them to take advantage of their current preparedness to attempt the UPSC examinations, emphasizing that the state greatly needs more representation in the Central Services.
He also reminded the officers of the importance of respecting and valuing their subordinates. He cautioned against the prevalent issue of mistreating lower staff, stressing that those in government service must treat people fairly and work sincerely, as this alone ensures progress. At the same time, he urged them not to fear political interference, but to stand firm and do what is right in every situation.
The training officers were led by Pu Lalhmansanga Khiangte, MCS, Joint Director, and Pi Golda Dell Zohmangaihi.
