A Big Achievement for MP in Good Governance and Transparency
Bhopal, Sept 2025 : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s innovative initiative, “Sampada 2.0”, bagged the prestigious SKOCH Gold Award at a grand ceremony held in New Delhi on Saturday. This marks a significant achievement for Madhya Pradesh in the field of good governance and transparency. CM Dr. Yadav congratulated all officers and staff associated with management of Sampada 2.0 for this accomplishment.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Jagdish Deoda said that “Sampada 2.0” has set new benchmarks in good governance and transparency. He emphasized that the award reflects the continuous innovative efforts being made under the guidance of CM Dr. Mohan Yadav. Technology has been effectively utilized as a powerful tool for public service, and moving forward, this initiative will be expanded to deliver even more services to the people. The award recognizes the state’s remarkable work in transparency, good governance, and technological innovation.
At a grand event held in the national capital, Professor Mahendra S. Dev, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council, and Professor R. Kavita Rao, Director of the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy, along with the SKOCH Group, presented the National SKOCH Gold Award 2025 to the Inspector General of Registration and Superintendent of Stamps, Commercial Tax Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, for the successful implementation of “Sampada 2.0”.
Project Officer Senior District Registrar Shri Swapnesh Sharma received the award.
Through “Sampada 2.0”, services have become faster, simpler, and more transparent. This platform has not only improved administrative efficiency but has also played a significant role in providing quick and convenient services to the public. Going forward, there are plans to expand the platform further and integrate more services, which will accelerate digital good governance in the state and make services even more easily accessible for citizens. This achievement is a proud moment for Madhya Pradesh, showcasing the state’s leading role at the national level in innovation and good governance.
Notably, Madhya Pradesh has also received the National E-Governance Award for excellence in the e-Registration and e-Stamping systems. It is the only state in India where 75 documents can be registered via video KYC without visiting the sub-registrar office.
Anyone can generate an e-stamp anytime, from anywhere, for personal use, making Madhya Pradesh the first and only state to establish such a system. A paperless document registration system via e-registration is operational in the state and has been appreciated by the Central Government. For this achievement, the state government has received ₹200 crore under the Capital Incentive Scheme.
The Sampada 2.0 software is also set to receive the National E-Governance Award 2025 at the National E-Governance Conference to be held on September 22 and 23 in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
“Sampada 2.0” includes cutting-edge digital features, including GIS technology. Now, anyone can obtain e-stamps from anywhere, anytime through the portal www.sampada.mpigr.gov.in.
Its mobile app allows users to instantly check guideline rates for any region in the state.
