Seva Pakhwada: ‘Women Wellness Walk’ Organized in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi District under Healthy Women, Empowered Family Campaign

Raipur, Sept 2025 : As part of the celebrations of Seva Pakhwada being observed from September 17 to October 2 on the occasion of the 75th birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a special ‘Women Wellness Walk’ was organized today in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district under the Healthy Women, Empowered Family Campaign.

The program began under the leadership of Collector Mrs. Leena Kamlesh Mandavi, who administered an oath to all officials, employees, and women present to stay healthy and to strengthen their families. During the event, women participants covered a distance of about 5 kilometers. The walk commenced from Dattatreya Garden and concluded at Mahfil Restaurant in Madna, passing through Rani Durgavati Chowk, Tiraha Chowk, Sarabhara Jogidongri, and Anish Chowk. The participants displayed great enthusiasm and awareness throughout the walk.

Through this walk, the message was conveyed that a healthy woman is the foundation of a strong family, and it is essential for women to remain vigilant about their health. On this occasion, an oath was also administered under the Drug-Free India Campaign.

Collector Mrs. Mandavi said that the youth power of the nation plays a crucial role in the development of society and the country. Therefore, it is necessary for the youth to join the campaign for a drug-free India and contribute to building a healthy, capable, and aware nation.

A large number of women officers and employees enthusiastically participated in this inspirational program.
