Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma Lays Foundation of Triveni Nagar ROB to Gurjar Ki Thadi Elevated Road
Jaipur, Sept 2025 : On Monday, Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma laid the foundation stone for the elevated road being constructed from Triveni Nagar ROB to Gurjar Ki Thadi at Triveni Nagar Chowk.
Shri Sharma officially inaugurated the project with traditional rituals, inspected the project model, and provided necessary guidance after consulting with the concerned officials.
Notably, this four-lane elevated road will facilitate smooth traffic movement towards Gopalpura Bypass. Once completed, it will significantly reduce traffic congestion in areas including 10B, New Sanganer Road, Riddhi-Siddhi, Gurjar Ki Thadi, and adjoining localities. Additionally, the elevated road will provide better connectivity to Mansarovar, Ajmer Road, and Malviya Nagar.
The event was attended by State Minister for Urban and Autonomous Governance (Independent Charge) Shri Jhabar Singh Kharra, Jaipur Municipal Corporation Greater Deputy Mayor Shri Puneet Karnawat, Jaipur Development Commissioner Smt. Anandi, along with several public representatives, officials, and a large number of citizens.
Elevated Road to be Built at ₹218 Crore, 2160 Meters Long
The elevated road, 2160 meters in length and 17.20 meters in width, will be constructed at an estimated cost of approximately ₹218 crore. The road will have 88 pillars. Under this project, a 20-meter-long underpass will also be built at Mahesh Nagar Junction. Additionally, service roads of 10.5 meters on both sides, 1.5-meter-wide utility services, and 2-meter-wide footpaths with drainage will be constructed alongside the elevated road.
