60 percent of the appointments made in our govt went to SC, ST and OBC candidates: CM Yogi
Lucknow : Speaking on the supplementary budget in the monsoon session of the Assembly, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also shared his perspective on reservation. He stated that SC, ST, and OBC communities have received a 60 percent share in the appointments made under his administration.
“I can confidently say that the OBCs did not even receive 27 percent reservation in government recruitments during the SP government,” he added.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, commenting on the corruption in government jobs during the SP government, stated that there was a “pick and choose” approach in their appointments. He remarked, “The chacha-bhatija company used to go out for extortion from candidates. Lekhpals were appointed after taking bribe,” he said.
He emphasized that his government is conducting recruitments transparently and fairly. “We have appointed 5,500 Lekhpals, and no one can question the integrity of this process. When these youths are deployed in the field, transparency will be ensured,” he added.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that under his government, anyone who cheats the youth of the state is dismissed from their position. He added that the culprits are also sent to jail with full strictness and without leniency.
