Display of Attractive Gift Hampers by Rajeevika at Sumangal Diwali Mela

Jaipur, Oct 2025 : Rajasthan Grameen Ajeevika Vikas Parishad (Rajeevika) is organizing the Sumangal Diwali Mela at the Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj Institute, Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, Jaipur. The fair has emerged as a robust platform for connecting rural women entrepreneurs with urban markets while promoting Rajasthan’s rich traditional crafts.

A special highlight of the mela is the display of beautifully curated festive gift hampers, meticulously prepared by the women members of Rajeevika’s Self-Help Groups (SHGs). These hampers represent a harmonious blend of traditional artistry, craftsperson-ship, and contemporary aesthetics. Their thoughtful design and elegant presentation make them an ideal and impactful choice for corporate gifting, festive occasions, and a wide range of other gifting purposes.

Available in the price range of ₹650 to ₹3000, these hampers are not only aesthetically appealing and pocket-friendly but also offer a meaningful way to support rural women artisans. Students from Biyani Girls College and IIS University, Jaipur, also visited the mela. They appreciated the efforts of Rajeevika’s SHG women and enjoyed the vibrant display of traditional crafts and artistry at the venue.

The Sumangal Diwali Mela is being held daily from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj Institute, Jaipur, and will continue till 12 October . The fair features an impressive range of traditional products, apparel, and handicrafts from various districts of Rajasthan, serving as a key attraction for visitors.
