CM Bhajanlal Sharma Reviews Preparations for Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s Jaipur Visit on October 13

Jaipur, Oct 2025 : Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma held a high-level review meeting at the Chief Minister’s Office on Thursday to discuss preparations for the proposed visit of Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah to Jaipur on October 13. During the meeting, the Chief Minister directed officials to complete all related arrangements in a coordinated and timely manner.

The Chief Minister said that with the implementation of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) 2023, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA) 2023, the country’s criminal justice system has witnessed positive transformation. To mark one year since their enforcement on July 1, 2024, a six-day state-level exhibition based on these three new laws will be organized at JECC, Sitapura, Jaipur. The exhibition will be inaugurated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on October 13.

The Chief Minister instructed concerned departments to work according to their assigned responsibilities and ensure successful organization and wide public participation in the exhibition.

Foundation Stone-Laying for Development Projects, Investment Groundbreaking, and DBT Transfers

Shri Sharma said that on this occasion, the Union Home Minister will also perform the foundation stone-laying and inauguration of various development projects, along with the groundbreaking of investment proposals received under the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024. Additionally, he will transfer DBT amounts for school uniforms to students and milk subsidy to dairy producers, and will also launch registrations under the 150-unit free electricity scheme.

The Chief Minister added that vehicles for the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) and two-wheelers for women safety patrolling will also be flagged off. He instructed officials to complete all these preparations on time.

District Collectors and SPs Conference to Set Direction for State Development

Shri Sharma announced that the state government will organize a District Collectors and Superintendents of Police (SPs) Conference in Jaipur starting October 13. The conference will review key areas such as law and order, land management, good governance, and socio-economic development. A detailed discussion will also be held on the state’s development roadmap.

The Union Home Minister will attend the inaugural session of the conference. The Chief Minister emphasized ensuring proper arrangements so that the conference serves as a significant step toward setting a new direction for Rajasthan’s development.

The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant, Director General of Police Shri Rajeev Kumar Sharma, and senior officials from various departments.
