The single-member inquiry commission constituted by the state government met CM Dhami.
The single-member inquiry commission, set up by the state government to investigate alleged irregularities in the competitive examination conducted by the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission on September 21, 2025, met Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami today and submitted its interim report. The commission is chaired by Hon’ble Justice (Retd.) U.C. Dhyani.
Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the commission has commendably submitted its report within a short period after conducting extensive public hearings and collecting suggestions from candidates and other concerned parties. The Chief Minister stated that the state government will examine the report and take decisions in the best interest of the candidates.
He further informed that a recommendation for a CBI inquiry has already been made to ensure complete impartiality in the matter. The Chief Minister reaffirmed that the government is fully committed to maintaining the sanctity, transparency, and credibility of examinations.
He added that all necessary measures will be taken to ensure that no irregularities occur in any recruitment examination in the future and that candidates and their parents continue to have full faith in the state’s examination system.
